About India in Nutshell

Last updated: 14 October 2026

India in Nutshell is an independent, non-government, non-partisan platform where people across India tell their leaders what they want. The idea is simple: ministers and parties should not tell us what we want; we, the people, should tell them.

What we do

  • Surface real problems, backed by evidence.
  • Show the arguments on every side, next to each other.
  • Publish honest numbers: how many voted, who is verified, who is directly affected.
  • Find solutions that can actually work, and show who is responsible for acting.

Our principles

  • People first, not parties. No endorsements of parties or candidates and no political advertising.
  • Evidence over noise: sources, proof and clear verification labels.
  • Civil, not censored: abusive language is removed, but the concern behind it can always be raised.
  • Every side gets heard, and common ground is highlighted.
  • Honest numbers: online polls are self-selected, and we say so on every result.
  • Transparent moderation: every removal has a visible reason, and we publish a monthly report.
  • Private by default: minimal data, anonymous posting, and compliance with India's data protection law.

India in Nutshell is not affiliated with any government body, ministry or political party.
