Community guidelines

This platform is for honest, respectful debate about India's real problems. Criticism is welcome; abuse is not.

Do

• Criticise governments, policies, parties and officials, however strongly.
• Give facts, experience and sources. Attach evidence where you can.
• Raise concerns about discrimination based on caste, religion, region, language or gender.
• Read the other side's argument properly before replying.

Don't

• Use abusive or vulgar language, or insult people.
• Post hate against a community, slurs, or calls for violence, expulsion or boycott of any group.
• Threaten anyone.
• Share personal details such as phone numbers, addresses, or Aadhaar or PAN numbers.
• Name private individuals in allegations. Allegations against public officials need evidence and are checked by a moderator first.
• Spread deliberately false information, spam or ads.
• Post political advertising or ask people to vote for a candidate.
• Post maps of India that differ from the official boundaries published by the Survey of India.

If rules are broken

Content may be removed (the reason is shown publicly), and accounts may be suspended or banned. You can appeal any decision through the Grievances page.
