1. Who can use this site

Anyone can read. To post or vote you must be 18 or older, sign in, and keep one account per person.

2. What this site is, and isn't

India in Nutshell is an independent citizens' platform. It is not official and is not affiliated with any government body, ministry or political party. Identity badges are self-declared or checked only for community trust, and are not legal proof of citizenship. Poll results reflect participants, not a scientific survey. AI-generated content is labelled and may contain errors.

3. Your content

You own what you post. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and share it on this service, and in aggregated, anonymised reports. You are responsible for what you post: it must follow the Community guidelines and Indian law.

4. Moderation

We may check, hold, label, edit (with a visible note), merge or remove content, and suspend accounts, as described in our Moderation policy. You can appeal any decision.

5. Prohibited use

No bots or automated voting, multiple accounts, attempts to break security, scraping personal data, or political advertising.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for content posted by users. As an intermediary, we act on lawful complaints and orders as set out in the IT Rules.

7. Grievances

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

9. Changes

We will notify you of material changes, and we remind all users of these terms at least once a year.
