Less discretion and more transparency leave less room for bribes:
- Every certificate, licence and approval online, with a fixed time limit and automatic approval if the deadline passes.
- Welfare paid directly into bank accounts (Direct Benefit Transfer), so middlemen can't take a cut.
- All government contracts, bills and inspection reports published, so citizens can check who built a road and what it cost.
- Strong protection for whistle-blowers and quick action on complaints.
Because published contracts also show who is responsible for a bad road, this solution is linked to both corruption and road accountability.
